Therefore these natural amber yarns, as a result of fusion of science and high tech, mixed with linen flax is the biggest proud of Baltic countries that can be worn.

Il lino in resina vegetale è stato apprezzato alla fiera HOMI MILANO 2019. Baltico 1.24 è felice di collaborare con alcuni dei più importanti produttori e rivenditori internazionali.

HOMI Milano è una fiera in cui vengono proposte idee, progetti, stili e culture differenti; racconta il design e la creatività per la casa e la persona.
È un incubatore di qualità dove si scoprono spunti importanti per affermare nuovi stili, senza dimenticare le origini e le tradizioni.

baltico 1.24 è stato invitato alla fiera Heimtextil 2018 a Francoforte, partecipando come espositore con il suo esclusivo lino impermeabile (resina vegetale) ECO prodotto.
Svetlana Baranovska, la titolare di Baltico 1.24, ha il brevetto su questo unico tessuto.
Heimtextil è la fiera più importante al mondo dei tessuti: 11 hall, 2.900 espositori da 67 paesi, 70.000 visitatori da 137 paesi.
L’idea del lino impermeabile è nata in una cantina in Lettonia. Tanti anni fa in Lettonia non esistevano i frigoriferi e per conservare sani i prodotti si utilizzavano contenitori in lino (robusto, trattato a mano con resina vegetale). Nelle cantine in campagna si potevano vedere frutta, verdura e cereali dentro grandi sacchi di lino trattato (anche da 20 Kg!). Con questa pellicola in resina il lino rimaneva rigido, pur mantenendo sempre le sue preziose qualità.L’idea del lino impermeabile (con resina vegetale) è stata lanciata dall’amica Laima che ha 86 anni.
